President - Don Kapla
I have been a patrol Deputy, with the Washington Co. Sheriff's Office since 1998.
I first joined the FOP as a member of Cream City Lodge #8 in 2003. After a short time, myself and Brother Clark Mitchell chartered Kettle Moraine Lodge #10 in October 2004. I served as the Chartering Vice President until 2010.
In 2007 I was appointed to the position of State Lodge Sgt At Arms. In August 2008, I was voted into the Office of State Lodge Secretary. After the untimely passing of State Loge President Tim Lueptow, there was some restructuring of the Executive Board, and I was ultimately installed as State Lodge President in March of 2009.
I was just re-elected to my 3rd term as President at the 2014 State Conference, and I will continue to serve the members throughout the state in a professional and responsible manner. My main focus at this time is to use our resources to help our existing Local Lodges flourish, and to charter new Lodges throughout the State.
Secretary - Shane Wrucke firstname.lastname@example.org
I have been in law enforcement since 2005, and I am currently a Sergeant with the Wauwatosa Police Department.
I was the chartering Treasurer of the Southeast Cities Lodge #11 in 2014, and I remained in that position until I was elected as the State Secretary in 2016.
As Secretary, I will work diligently as a liaison to the Grand Lodge to
ensure our Lodges continue to operate efficiently and effectively.
2nd VP - Mike Jankowski email@example.com
I have been working for the Wisconsin State Patrol since 2001. Prior to that, I worked as a correctional officer for the State Department of Corrections for over 5 years.
I joined the FOP as a member of Kettle Moraine Lodge #10 in 2011. I quickly became involved in lodge functions and activities and saw how important and fulfilling FOP membership is as an officer. I enjoyed networking and creating friendships with officers of other agencies that I otherwise may not have gotten to know. I was elected to Vice President of Lodge #10 in 2013. Early in 2016, I had the opportunity to transfer north for work and since have transferred my FOP membership to Central Wisconsin Lodge #3. I have been serving on the State Lodge scholarship committee prior to becoming 2nd VP.
I am excited to serve as WI State Lodge 2nd Vice President. I have goals to continue to expand our valuable scholarship program and to help our organization grow by spreading the word on the value and rewards of what it means to be a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
National Trustee - Jerry Johnson firstname.lastname@example.org
I am a 30 year veteran of the Green Bay Police Department, serving my entire career in the patrol division. I retired in 2012, at the rank of Lieutenant as a Road Supervisor on the Night Shift.
I am co-founder of Green Bay Lodge #2, in which I have served 6 terms as President. I am extremely proud of our membership's commitment to excellence and the accomplishments we have achieved during my tenure. The most noteworthy is that we have raised and donated nearly $300,000 to assorted programs, charitable organizations and support services that help improve the quality of life for Officers and their families.
I am appreciative of your confidence in my leadership abilities and the opportunity to serve as Wisconsin National Trustee. I stand committed to portray a positive image of our State and represent you in a professional and responsible manner.
Vice President - Andy Opperman
I have been in Law Enforcement since 2004, currently working as a Lieutenant for the Green Bay Police Department. I have been a member of FOP Lodge #2 since 2004 as well.
I spent 8 years in the United States Army Reserves and did a combat tour in Iraq, returning as a Purple Heart Veteran. I also have a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Concordia University of Wisconsin.
My goal in the FOP is to create a stronger bond not only with the community but with the men and women that live every day of their life walking that "Thin Blue Line."
Treasurer - Clark Mitchell email@example.com
I have over 15 years of service as a law enforcement officer and became a member of the Fraternal Order of Police in 2003. I am the Charter President of Lodge 10 and proudly served in that capacity from 2004 to 2013.
As your State Lodge Treasurer, I will continue to work diligently with the Executive Board to better serve the members of the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police.
Sgt At Arms - Mike Lauder firstname.lastname@example.org
I joined the Coast Guard in 1972 and served until 1976. I spent 2 years on an ice breaker stationed in Milwaukee and did 2 missions to Green Land to assist in clearing the waterways for supply ships to the Air Force base. I then served 1 year in the South Pacific on a Loran station.
I was a Law Enforcement Officer for 28 years. I started in Merrill Wisconsin then joined the Algoma PD. In 1985 I was hired by the Brown County Sheriffs Dept, where I worked until I retired in 2008.
I have been an FOP member with Green Bay Lodge # 2 for since 2002, where I am currently the Sgt at Arms.
I was elected to the position of Sgt At Arms for the State Lodge in 2016. I hope to help the FOP to grow, and become more involved in State FOP Operations.
